Copper Wave

I began by experimenting with the colours I love, placing them side by side and then layering them so they overlapped.

Once I saw how they interacted, I decided to add a third glaze over the overlapping areas to deepen the tones and create more complexity.

Once I had started, I changed the colour of the base glaze to shift the overall tone and atmosphere of the piece.

The only constant throughout the process was the copper wave, which remained as a unifying element.
